Spring Open House on Saturday!

This Saturday, March 29th is week 2 of our Spring Open House event!  Here's What's happening...


Theme:  Foodscaping
See a display of vegetables that not only can you eat, 
but they look GREAT in any yard!
See displays of new plants for 2014.



10:00am - Edible Landscaping
Scott Smythe from Virginia Berry Farm will present this informative program on edible landscaping, including tips on pruning and spraying.  This class is great for beginner small fruit growers.

10am-3pm - Children’s Garden Craft  Plant A Bulb

10am-3pm - Plant Your Own Pansy 
Container  Bring your own container or purchase one here.  Choose your plants and we’ll help you plant it.  Soil is free.  1 per customer please.

1:00pm - Chicken Chat Learn the benefits of having chickens in your garden.  Bobbi Spahr, a local hobby chicken enthusiast, will share everything she has learned about raising chickens.
